The idea
Latvia has a deep tradition of woodworking and ceramics that rarely travels beyond the Baltic region.
The materials are local — ash, oak and birch — shaped with techniques passed down over generations. Delmara collects these objects into one considered shop and sells them directly to customers elsewhere in Europe who would rather buy one good thing than several disposable ones.

Building the business
Physical products make you solve problems that software never asks about.
- 01Suppliers
Agreeing terms directly with small workshops, and matching their production capacity to export delivery schedules.
- 02Packaging
Protective packaging that survives a cross-border parcel network without resorting to single-use plastic.
- 03Fulfilment
Warehousing in Latvia with tracked delivery into Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Nordics.
- 04The shop
The online store itself, built with Next.js and Stripe, with localised currencies and product photography.
